And now we come to the end

Gentle Readers (who was it that uses/used that?), After a year of sporadic blogging on my part I have come to think that it is time to cease. I lead a wonderfully mundane life as compared to before. My story comes to an end next month when I finally have the surgery on my wrist that will render my wrist usable again.
Before I start rambling, I will just say, adios, fare the well, auf weidersahn (probably badly misspelled) Goodbye.

PS, the blog will stay online for posterity.

I forget how I stumbled on your blog, but I was reading way back when you were in Iraq before you were injured (ah, let's face it, you got blown up).
Your character, your humor, and your willingness to share makes your story very special and reassures me that things can turn out okay.

Bless you and godspeed.

Best of luck with the final surgeries! You'll be missed, feel free to come over and comment any time.

Also, it's spelled "auf wiedersehen." So you were pretty close. "Our feet are insane!"

I've linked to you here: http://consul-at-arms.blogspot.com/2008/01/re-and-now-we-come-to-end.html

Bye and much luck and happiness. I felt as if I was watching and listening to a member of my own family.

I think the quote (with out having to look) is Got myself all blown up. Good luck Liz with everything, I'm getting ready to head back to the crazy desert very shortly, wish me luck and if someday we're in the same town, dinner is on me (unless your filthy rich;-)

hey, there,

This is a little bit random and I don't know how often you check this blog. I am writing an oratory (a persuasive speech) for my debate team at school. It's about appreciating the "little" people (I don't mean to offend, I just don't have a better term yet). Anyway, I have a few questions...

Do you feel under appreciated as a soldier (especially as a woman), especially when it's generals (etc.) that recieve credit for winning battles? Why or why not? (Eloborate, please)

Thanks so much, I'd really appreciate it!

please email me, if you can, at king1026@bellsouth.net

and thank you for all you do.
