Things in life never make sense

Really not much to this post, just that. You try so hard to make life easy for a person and they go and stab you in the back or worse. What gives?! I spend much of my life being a doormat, so I really have to blame this partly on me, but still, you give and you give of yourself until you have nothing left. I guess hurt and angry describe things right now, but what else can I do? Pick up, carry on, and make life a little easy for those you can and if they appreciate it, fine, if not, well, Such is life.

Please take comfort in that so many others out here care about you and what happens to you. You are strong in mind, spirit, and body. Keep the faith, Sarge. When God closes a door He opens a window, maybe two.

Just a thought--when you see someone doing you wrong, try quietly withdrawing and then watch what they do. No confrontation necessary, just withdraw. Over many years, and thankfully just a few of these situations, you may find what I did; that being that they become even more aggressive when you provide them nothing to work with. I think it's that those types of people must have your reaction or response to fuel whatever drives their aggression and your withdrawl simply weakens them. Don't know what to suggest after that, but at least they will frequently reveal their true nature which they often keep well masked. I salute you . . . carry on.

I'm with Sean. Turn around, let me take the knife out, then point me in the direction of the SOB.

Well, okay, so I'm non-violent (except toward flat tires). Still, the sentiment applies.

Hey, you know the saying: No good deed goes unpunished! What are you going to do, uh? There are two types of people in the world, okay a**holes and definately not okay a**holes. Avoid the latter, cling fast to the former.

Remember, "what goes around comes around". They'll get theirs when the Karma comes back around.

Don't want to get to spiritual on you....but a wise man once said that we must forgive those that wrong us seventy times seven. Grace is a beautiful thing. Don't let those who wrong you discourage you from doing good and helping people. You will reap what you sow one day.... Good luck.
